notes:
Original seed was overwhelmingly bass heavy and not listenable with most stereos. Frequencies below 215hz were compressed and overall levels were boosted along with some EQ work to accentuate certain frequencies. The result is a more balanced recording of a monumental performance. Feel free to contact me with any comments.

Subject: Best of the Best
I have heard the same songs live since and although they are great they have never had the same intensity. STS9 was amped up that night. About 45 seconds into Today Zach let everyone know that he was serious. And I completely forgot Mike Gordon came out.
This version of Circus is my all time favorite STS9 song. Breathe In was incredible.
I am happy that I found a recording of this show that was not super bassy. Thank you thank you!

After listening to the four versions of this show, I would say hands down this is the best recording available. The bass is still present, but not overwhelming enough to drown out everything else. The EQing on this set brings out all ranges, sounds almost Sound-board quality.
Subject: Much better
